WRITING: IF I TOLD YOU - A POEM
DEMOCRISES - A POEM
if i told you
What
would
you
say
If
I
told
you
that
you
were
not
a
live?
What would
you do
if I
told you
you were
a cadaver?
What would you do
if I told you
to be alive
you had to be
conscious...s-s-s
In a non-reactive
state beyond the twitch
of the reactionary violent curve
or cobbled static street corner?
What would you do if I told you
that an ideologue does not think but simply
reacts to every challenge in a twitching cadaver’s
dance of death, to a dead-beat dogma?
What
would
you
do
if
I
told
you
that
you
can
be
re
sus
i
tat
ed?
