9 FRIENDS + 1 STATE = 10 REASONS TO CHANGE THE WORLD

Strix, Falco, Calvin, Kristina, Zip, Izzy, Jess, T_m and D_m have come together with a common purpose; to undermine the State and the Church’s authority and for people to see the true forces behind their Power.

They are joined by Jack, Strix’s dad, who first makes his presence known firstly to Zip, in her vision of code, and then to others when they attempt to find out what has happened to a missing member of their Group.

Jack will become Zip’s mentor, but not before he is reconciled with his son. The journeys in the World of 0w1 are never short or easy and being a long-lost father to a son he adored, is certainly not something that can be achieved by a few coffees at the Moonstruck Café.

True friendship in Bristol at this time, was difficult to come by, but because of this common struggle, it meant that if you did find friends, then they would last through all the stresses and strains put upon them by State and Church. It helps to have different gifts but a single cause; resistance.

The World of 0w1 offers us an opportunity to be a part of a community of readers who are longing to be connected to one another and also root for The Group as they walk through a perilous landscape and face the horror of the ‘vision space’.
