The unenlightened self

the old man/old woman

of the ego

The separate self

that suffers loneliness

and cannot experience

Oneness

Always separating

this from that,

them from us.

And you want to know

why you live a desolate life.

This is the sadness

of life; isolation,

aloneness is an

experience of the ego.

The sad ego of

shifting sands

and fluid moods of melancholy.

But the egoic self

the lower case ‘i’

needs to be silenced

for it’s pernicious

whisper, that when once

rejected, you connect

with the True Self…

AND everything is

connected to everything,

through the sinews of Spirit.

(The True Self is hidden, hidden within the Cosmos, in the heart of the Divine).
