POETRY - A WISE WOMAN SAID

(Image: Sunrise over misty trees)

A wise woman said

A wise woman said,

The greater the anger, the greater the ignorance.

The louder the rage, the louder the arrogance.

We have no need of these things, in the work of peace.

Peace comes with a whisper, a soul-sigh deep,

reverberating long and longer, till it touches the heart.

A wise woman said,

“The door to the mind should only open from the heart.”

These words are brought to you by Joy.

Let consciousness open your mind, and your mind consciousness.

Your ego is not the best spirit-guide on the planet.

If you follow it, you will run out of atmosphere; soon.

My feet are planted like the Tree of Life.

I don’t need your knowledge of black and white; bi-polar grief.
